About The Jazzhaus
Rick McNeely opened the Jazzhaus in 1988. Since then, Rick and his wife Tanya McNeely have cultivated The Jazzhaus into one of downtown Lawrence's premier nightclubs. For more than four decades, it has been a place to discover great music, share a drink, and make a night of it with friends.
The Jazzhaus is also known for its popular Karaoke nights, where first-time singers, longtime regulars, and everyone in between are invited to take the stage. It is a welcoming, inclusive space where people from every walk of life can come together, have fun, and feel at home.
